Pacific Yellow fish Tuna recipe?

I have a little under 1/2 lb of this new fish to me.

Any suggestions on how to cook it?

Simplest answer wins. I'm a college student with minimal resources in the kitchen!

I plan on rice and veggies with it. Any help is appreciated!

Marinated Tuna Steak -- You can also bake any of these recipes. Bake at 350* for 25 minutes or until desired doneness.

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

4 (4 ounce) tuna steaks

Preheat grill for high heat.

Lightly oil grill grate. Cook the tuna steaks for 5 to 6 minutes, then turn and baste with the marinade. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, or to desired doneness. Discard any remaining marinade.

Grilled Teriyaki Tuna --

INGREDIENTS

1 cup teriyaki sauce

3/4 cup olive oil

2 tablespoons minced garlic

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

4 (4 ounce) fillets yellowfin tuna

DIRECTIONS

In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the teriyaki sauce, oil, garlic, and pepper. Place the tuna fillets in the bag. Seal the bag with as little air in it as possible. Give the mix a good shake, to ensure the tuna fillets are well coated. Marinate for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

Meanwhile, preheat an outdoor grill for high heat, and lightly oil grate.

Remove tuna from marinade, and place on grill. For rare tuna, grill for 3 to 5 minutes on each side. For medium, grill 5 to 8 minutes per side. For well done, grill for 8 to 10 minutes per side.Pacific Yellow fish Tuna recipe?
This is really easy to make.

Pan Seared Tuna.

Before cooking marinate with garlic, soy sauce, and little bit of sugar, and green tea (optional).

Cook it on a fry pan with a little bit of olive oil.

It should be on medium to medium high, and flip it when it's brown on side.
if you are going to use the stove top, get some cajun seasoning....

i am assuming that these are tuna fillets or steaks.....coat each side with the seasoning, cook in a pan at medium heat, on both sides for about 3 min each....the longer you cook each side the spicier it will get.....

this is commonly known as blackened....huge in louisiana
just do a little coarse black pepper

and olive oil that is the best fish you will ever eat it i love it.grill it a minute on each side best eaten when red inside..and not done.

live on the gulf and try to always eat it..:)

or wahoo..
simplest answer is just grill it, maybe use a little lemon pepper or some other light seasoning like dill weed, and it is yellow fin also known as ahi tuna not yellow fish
Marinade and then grill them.
