tinned tuna is good with a pasta salad which includes lemon juice, mayo, salt and pepper, celery.

in a sandwich with cucumber, tomato and lemon pepper

in a salad with cooked green beans, fresh tomatoes, soft boiled eggs, cooked baby potatoes, kalamata olives and a fresh lemon juice olive oil for a beautifil nicoise salad

tuna bake with macaroni and cheese sauce

tossed with capers, roasted capsicum, red onion, garlic and tomato pasta sauce tossed with noodles or rice

risotto with tuna, spinach, cheese, peas and green onions
I like mine with finely chopped onion and white vinegar diluted with water. Best if it is left overnight in fridge. Yummy on Wasa or Ryvita Rye crackers.
I like chunk light tuna. You can buy Tuna helper meal kits that are in your supermarket next to hamburger helper. Their tuna pot pie is great.

I also like thouse little Star Kist lunch packs that come with everything you need to make tuna salad on crackers.

When I make tuna salad from scratch though I like to add boiled egg, a little bit of onion, reduced fat mayo, %26amp; either pickles or rellish, It's great on toasted wheat bread.

4-6 servings

Mrs. Puff's Pastry Fish

flour

2 puff pastry sheets

2 (6 ounce) cans tuna (I used salmon and crab before)

2 tablespoons chopped onions

2 tablespoons chopped celery

1/2 cup mayonnaise

salt and pepper

4 slices American cheese, cut in half

egg wash (1 egg, 1 yolk, pinch of salt, beaten together)

Preheat the oven to 375掳F

On a floured surface, roll out puff pastry sheets into 12- by 18-inch rectangles. Slide them onto a baking pan and place in the refrigerator. Let them settle about one hour, until firm.

While the dough is settling, make the tuna salad. Drain the cans of tuna and mix with the onions celery, mayonnaise, and salt and pepper. Set it aside.

Using a floured fish-shaped cookie cutter, help your kids cut out 16 pieces from the pastry sheets. (If you do not have a fish-shaped cutter, draw a simple fish on a piece of cardboard, cut it out, and use it as a template.)

Divide the filling evenly among eight of the fish pieces, leaving a 1/4-inch border all around. Place a cheese slice on top of the filling.

With a pastry brush or small, clean paintbrush, brush the 1/4-inch border of the pastry with the egg wash.

Place the top pieces on the filled bases and lightly press together the edges with a fork to seal in the filling.

Brush the tops of all the fish with the egg wash. With the tip of a knife, poke a small hole to make an eye. You can also lightly cut a fin shape, being careful not to press the knife tip all the way through the dough.

Bake for about 20 minutes until well colored and crisp.

try this

tuna in water

chop the following

tomatos, green onions, cucumber, jalapeno pepper, lettuce

mix all together with lemon%26amp; salt

put on top of tostada shell or crakers
you're probably better off eating it plain. tuna alone has about 60 calories, when you start adding mayo and stuff that's already an extra 100 calories because it's fat. you don't want to undo what you've worked for. try eating albacore tuna. that's the most tasty.
