What are some different recipes for tuna?

Absolutely Amazing Ahi --

INGREDIENTS

3/4 pound sashimi grade tuna steak, diced

1/2 cup diced cucumber

1 avocados - peeled, pitted and diced

1/4 cup chopped green onion

1 1/2 teaspoons red pepper flakes

1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice

2 teaspoons sesame oil

1/2 cup soy sauce

DIRECTIONS

In a medium bowl, combine the tuna, cucumber, avocado, green onion, red pepper flakes and sesame seeds. Pour in the lemon juice, sesame oil and soy sauce, and stir carefully to blend so as not to mash the avocado. Place this bowl into a larger bowl that has been filled with ice. Chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes, but no longer - the terrific freshness of the fish will be lost.

Once chilled, remove the bowl from the ice, and invert onto a serving plate. Serve with toasted bread or your favorite crackers.

tuna helper

Ingredients:

* 2 1/4 cups of water

* 1 1/2 cups of milk

* one 6 ounce can of tuna

* Tuna Helper box, which contains noodles and seasoning package

* 4 tablespoons of butter (1/2 stick is 4 TBSP)

steps

Put the heat on medium to high heat. Put the butter in the saucepan for it to melt.

Pour the pasta noodles and seasoning package into the pan.

Pour, at a slow rate, the milk and water into the pan. This is to avoid any splashing. Gently sprinkle and put the tuna into the pan.

Mix and stir the ingredients together. Let the tuna helper come to a boil.

Lower the heat to ';low'; and cover the pan for 13 to 15 minutes. Stir on occasion.

Turn off the heat and let the tuna helper cool down. As it cools down, the sauce will thicken.

Serve in bowls with spoons.
My 2 favorite things to make with tuna is tuna sandwiches and tuna casserole.

Tuna Sandwiches: Just combine tuna with mayo, relish and diced hard boiled eggs. Put mixture on bread.

Tuna Casserole: Fix mac and cheese according to directions on the box. When ready, stir in a can of tuna, a can of sweet corn and a can of cream of mushroom (or cream of chicken). This is so easy and is very filling.
Add a tuna/cheese melt to the list. Make tuna salad, put on bread, top with a slice of cheese and grill or bake in foil, until melted.

Also, tuna marinara sauce over spaghetti, grated cheese %26amp; salad.
I love making some tuna mayo with some celery (cut to your own taste; thin, chunky etc), red onion, horseradish, salt and pepper.

It's great cold on sandwiches, baguettes etc, or hot on a baked potato or as a tuna melt.
I like to mix oil-packed tuna with cannellini beans, cherry tomatoes, olive oil, vinegar, and fresh parsley for an easy appetizer or light dinner.

when i make tuna fish sandwiches i put either onions, apples, pickles, garlic, or cheese in it mixed with a little mayo...its sooooo good. the garlic is the best on toasted whole wheat bread ! YUMM!
If it is canned Tuna, use it in fried rice, as a sauce for pasta, or in sammies.
salads? casseroles?? patties??? can't give you a recipe unless you give more information like what kind of food you want to make.
