pasta and vegetables. What are some good tuna recipes?
I have some good recipes, but not wanting pasta or veggies makes it quite difficult, what about this one?

Tuna Melt - it's delicious and if you don't like tomato, you don't have to use it

2 (6 ounce) cans solid white tuna in water, drained

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup finely chopped celery

1 1/2 tablespoons finely chopped onion

1 tablespoon chopped parsley

3/4 teaspoon red wine vinegar

1 pinch salt

1 pinch freshly ground black pepper

4 slices seedless rye bread

8 slices ripe tomato

8 slices Swiss cheese

paprika, for garnish

Preheat the oven broiler.

In a bowl, mix the tuna, mayonnaise, celery, onion, parsley, and vinegar. Season with salt and pepper.

Place the rye bread slices on a baking sheet, and broil 1 minute in the preheated oven, until lightly toasted. Remove from heat, and spread with the tuna salad. Place 1 cheese slice over the tuna salad on each piece of bread, layer with a tomato slice, and top with remaining cheese slices.

Return layered bread to the preheated oven, and broil 3 to 5 minutes, until cheese is melted. serves 4.

Tasty Tuna Burgers !

1 (6 ounce) can tuna, drained

1 egg

1/2 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs

1/3 cup minced onion

1/4 cup minced celery

1/4 cup minced red bell pepper

1/4 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons chili sauce

1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 dash hot pepper sauce

1 dash Worcestershire sauce

4 hamburger buns

1 tomato, sliced

4 leaves of lettuce (optional)

Combine tuna, egg, bread crumbs, onion, celery, red bell pepper, mayonnaise, hot chili sauce, chili sauce, dill, salt, pepper, hot pepper sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well. Shape into 4 patties (mixture will be very soft and delicate). Refrigerate for 30 minutes to make the patties easier to handle, if desired.

Coat a non-stick skillet with cooking spray; fry tuna patties for about 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until cooked through. These are fragile, so be careful when turning them.

Serve on buns with tomato slices and lettuce leaves, if desired. serves 4

I know this sounds strange, but tuna is really good on a salad!

Make a mesculin salad (field greens) with chopped tomatoes, cucumbers, parmesan cheese, red onions, and Golden Raisins with a WHITE BALSAMIC Vinagrette (White Balsamic Vinegar and Olive Oil whisked).

Top with tuna that is mixed with a spoonful of lite mayo.

(Or a grilled tuna steak, if tuna STEAK is what you mean...)

Yum!!!
I presume you are talking fresh tuna here and not that disgusting canned/tinned stuff. Do you know that the canning process destroys upwards of 75% of the goodness in the fish?

I love tuna griddled. Cook it very quickly and serve it on a bed of rice with some home made salsa on top.

You can find the full recipe on the site I've linked to below.

Enjoy!
